Using eSIM on Android

Step 1: Confirm device & get eSIM QR code

First, please make sure your Android device supports eSIM and is running a compatible operating system version.
After completing the order, you will receive a set of eSIM QR codes from Aviro (sent to your email).

🔍 You can check whether your phone supports eSIM through the instructions page we provide.

Step 2: Open eSIM settings and scan the QR code

Please follow the steps below to set up:

1. Go to: Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager

2. Click Add eSIM or Add Action Plan

3. Select " Use QR code "

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process

Remark:

• If you can't scan the QR code with your camera, you can also select " Manually enter the code " and copy it from the email.

• You can also select the " Upload QR Image " function to upload the QR code you saved as a screenshot from your album.

Step 3Name the eSIM (Optional)

After installation is complete, you can give this eSIM a name of your own, such as "eSIM Aviro" or "Travel eSIM", to distinguish it from other installed eSIMs.

Step 4: Turn on data roaming when you arrive at your destination

When you arrive in the country where you want to use eSIM:

1. Go to: Settings > Connections/Mobile Network

2. Select the eSIM you just installed

3. Enable Data Roaming

Notes:

• Please do not enable data roaming before leaving the country to avoid wasting time by activating it too early.

• The eSIM usage period will start from the moment you complete the installation .

• Each eSIM can only be installed once and cannot be used or restored if deleted.

• The "Upload QR Image from Gallery" feature is only available on Samsung Galaxy S20 or later models and some new Android devices.

• The setup process and terms may vary slightly between different phone brands and Android versions. Please refer to the actual screen for details.
